Croda Fiscalina (2,677 m)

Very easy and short excursion (½ h, 150 m height difference) not to be missed! Breath-taking views on the way up and a unique view from the summit: mountains as far as the eye could see, from the Ötztal to the Zillertal Alps and many others, the Großvenediger and the Großglockner, in the west Cristallo and Tofane, the Tre Cime, in the south the Antelao and the Marmarole group, and just in front of you, massive and huge, the Cima Dieci, Undici and Dodici. The Cima Uno is at a stone’s throw … Be careful, do not lean too far behind the crucifix: the wall falls sharply to 700 m. Our tip: lie on your stomach and enjoy the tingling feeling.

From the Rifugio Pian di Cengia to the Rifugio Locatelli, Malga Langalm, Rifugio Auronzo and via the Rifugio Lavaredo back to the starting point, our Rifugio Pian di Cengia. (approx. 6 hours)

1 h hike, off the beaten track, can be inserted as a passage on the way to the Comici shelter.

About 2.5 h long circular hike, with little altitude difference.

Ferrata degli Alpini (1915-1918): Short and easy via ferrata with a splendid view. The starting point is at 10 minutes from our mountain hut. It is suitable to practise or as a small excursion to complete the day, or as a passage to the Forcella Croda dei Toni. From here, you can choose whether to move towards the Strada degli Alpini, to the Rifugio Comici or towards the via ferrata on the south face of the Cima Dodici (Severino Casara). Bring your fixed rope route equipment.

Cima Dodici (Croda dei Toni), Cima Uno, Monte Paterno, Tre Cime ... Within the walls of these mountains, mountaineering history has been written. Many of these trails are now classics, the dream of every mountaineer. Following the footsteps of Innerkofler, Schranzhofer and other Alpine pioneers. Daniel Rogger, who has grown up at Pian di Cengia, and his colleagues of the Tre Cime Mountaineering School will show you the most beautiful historical routes.

Via ferrata Severino Casara

The new via ferata that crosses the south face of the Croda dei Toni, connecting Pian di Cengia with the Rifugio Carducci (approx. 6 h), is especially exciting for all connoisseurs of the Dolomites, as it is still widely unknown and therefore very quiet.
